Set of 11 Luminarc glasses made of mass-tinted glass in a deep amethyst red, manufactured by the Verrerie d'Arques, as evidenced by the original label still present on one of the glasses. Their simple, cylindrical shape, resting on a very discreet transparent base, is characteristic of French design from the 1970s. The colour beautifully changes with the light: almost black when dense, it reveals an intense and luminous ruby red as soon as it is illuminated by the sun or a candle. A warm, refined, and timeless shade that enhances a table. Dimensions. 11 glasses. Height: 10 cm. Height of the bowl: 7 cm. Diameter of the rim: 5.5 cm. Perfect for serving wine, water, fruit juices, cocktails, digestifs, or desserts. They can also be repurposed as candle holders, with their coloured glass diffusing a particularly warm red light. An iconic set showcasing the French craftsmanship of Luminarc – Verrerie d'Arques, which has become a classic of vintage tableware.
