10 ruby glass cups, 1970s

Set of 10 dessert bowls in ruby red tinted glass, produced around 1970. These bowls feature an iconic aesthetic of tableware from the 1960s-1970s: a cylindrical bowl with thick walls in a deep garnet red, resting on a short stem and a circular base in transparent glass. The contrast between the transparency of the base and the rich colour of the bowl creates a particularly elegant set, reminiscent of certain Scandinavian and French productions from the period. Versatile, they can be used to serve ice creams, fruits, mousses, cold starters, or verrines. They also make a beautiful decorative object when presented in an accumulation. Dimensions.
