Set of six stoneware beer mugs with a beautiful glaze in shades of brown, gray, and blue. The craftsmanship is exquisite, both in the throwing and the glazing. Five are in perfect condition. A flaw on the sixth is shown in the last photo. Maurice Pitot was a renowned Belgian ceramicist (1926–2010) based in Chatelineau, Belgium. He used stoneware from Bouffioulx, a small nearby town nicknamed the "pottery town." A beer mug is a glass traditionally used for beer, but it also makes a perfectly good mug.
