Glass and brass wall light by Carl Fagerlund for Orrefors, 1960.

A genuine brass and glass wall light from 1960. Design by Carl Fagerlund. Created in collaboration between the Danish lighting manufacturer Lyfa and the Swedish glassworks Orrefors. The fact that this lighting model is no longer in production makes it a rare collector's item. Thick, textured, and curved glass shade. The shade is attached with 2 brass buttons to polished brass wall plates. The wall light beautifully illuminates thanks to the reflection of the bulb on the brass plate. Intact original label. Can be used with switch wiring or directly connected to a wall via the round opening on the brass plate. The piece weighs 1.7 kg. Requires 1 E27 bulb, max 25 W. LED compatible. Light wear consistent with the age and use of this piece. Recently polished brass to give it a fresh visual appeal. Note: If you already own Orrefors wall lights and wish to complete your collection, please note that the glass of this one is slightly yellow-tinted (which gives it a warmer light). There is another version that is completely clear.
