Armchair by Grete Jalk for France & Daverkosen in Denmark 1950

This is an original danish piece of midcentury vintage design! Made of high quality teak wood in a warm brown colour, beautifuly complimented by the original fabric upholstery to the comfortable padded seat and backrest. The back is slightly tilted for a maximum seating comfort, surrounded by the square frame this creates a wonderful design with a sense of luxury! The wood if finished with an amazing eye for detail, rounded and slightly curved with a gentle downwards tilt to the back. All together this impressive piece would make a true stunner in any decor! It is comfortable and will soon be an in-home favorite. It remains in completely original, yet very good vintage condition. Seating height: 43 cm.
