Pair of Dioniso Table Lamps in Marble and Brass by Angelo Brotto, Esperia

A remarkable and rare discovery, this pair of “Dioniso” table lamps — designed by Angelo Brotto for Esperia in the 1970s — comes from long-sealed warehouse stock, preserved in exceptional, pristine condition. Each lamp retains its original Esperia label and embodies the sculptural, experimental spirit that defines Brotto’s most sought-after work. The design is a compelling interplay of textures and materials: the solid black Portoro marble base provides a grounded, architectural foundation, while the vertical brass stem extends upward with quiet elegance. The focal point is the hand-worked brass decorative element — a richly textured, almost relief-like surface forged entirely by hand, showcasing the artisanal craftsmanship for which Esperia is celebrated. The lamps are completed with new high-quality cotton shades in an elegant white tone, offering a soft, refined counterpoint to the bold sculptural base. A rare opportunity to acquire an untouched pair of one of Brotto’s most distinctive designs — timeless, glamorous, and highly collectible. Conditions: Good Vintage Condition.
