This rare round piece of furniture on invisible wheels, designed by Osvaldo Borsani for Tecno, is made of lacquered plywood, laminate, leather, and steel. The dark grey lacquered plywood interior contrasts elegantly with the black leather exterior. The manufacturer's label is present inside, as shown in the photos. Listed in the Repertorio 1950-1980, page 299. Osvaldo Borsani, founder of Tecno, was a renowned Italian architect and designer, creator of icons such as the Graphis desk system, the D70 sofa, the P40 chaise longue, and the T1 and T2 coffee tables. In 1933, Borsani participated in the fifth Triennale of Milan with the project "Minimal House, " which won a silver medal. After graduating from the Polytechnic School in the post-war period, he collaborated with renowned artists such as Lucio Fontana, Agenore Fabbri, and Fausto Melotti, creating major works in the field of furniture and interior design.
