Canasta Floor Lamp Mid-Century Italian in the style of Cedric Hartman for Obor, Italy, 1960s

Elegant mid-century floor lamp made by the Italian manufacturer Obor. The design impresses with the finesse of the execution of details and the principle of cantilever and counterweight. It is heavily inspired by the floor lamps of Cedric Hartmann. In details, such as the reflector head, it is almost identical. The lamp features two poles connected by a double-angled arm. The light head is at its peak. Opposite is an elegant counterweight in the form of a solid block. The diffuser can be rotated, and the upper arm can be pivoted to control the direction of the light. The reflector is equipped with a polished disc inside. The switch on the light head has been replaced with a switch at the base.
