Old French school oil painting – River landscape – Signed – Art Deco frame

Superb oil painting on panel dating from the French Impressionist/Post-Impressionist period, probably executed at the end of the 19th century. The painting depicts a bucolic landscape characteristic of the Loing Valley region: a peaceful stream, a path leading to a traditional cottage, an old stone bridge, and haystacks on the horizon. The painting is presented in its beautiful period Art Deco gilded wooden frame. Sold as is, ready to be hung.
