Set of 4 miniature earthenware cups with Old Rouen decor

Old-world charm in a miniature format! These four small earthenware cups recall the splendor of the "Old Rouen" decor, famous for its blue, yellow, and orange arabesques, inspired by 18th-century Norman earthenware. Each piece is hand-painted, with a soft relief in the glaze, revealing a touching craftsmanship despite the absence of a mark. It's hard not to imagine these miniatures in a period dollhouse, on a curio shelf, or even as a tealight holder or container for salt or dried herbs. The colors, vibrant despite the years, echo the great French manufacturers (Fives-Lille or Saint-Clément style), yet without any stamp to signify their origin.
