Old-world charm in a miniature format! These four small earthenware cups recall the splendor of the "Old Rouen" decor, famous for its blue, yellow, and orange arabesques, inspired by 18th-century Norman earthenware. Each piece is hand-painted, with a soft relief in the glaze, revealing a touching craftsmanship despite the absence of a mark. It's hard not to imagine these miniatures in a period dollhouse, on a curio shelf, or even as a tealight holder or container for salt or dried herbs. The colors, vibrant despite the years, echo the great French manufacturers (Fives-Lille or Saint-Clément style), yet without any stamp to signify their origin. We love them for their beautifully restored Old Rouen decor, with scrolls, lambrequins, and stylized flowers, their miniature format, perfect for diverting into charming objects, and their patina and irregularity, which testify to authentic craftsmanship. Height: 3.5 cm Diameter: 4.5 cm Good overall vintage condition. Small enamel defects here and there, typical of unstamped antique pieces. No cracks or chips visible.
