Descamps drape in a linen and cotton blend - light beige in colour and rectangular in shape, featuring a matching Venetian lace trim at the top. In perfect condition as we acquired a lot of old but new sheets, we still entrusted them to the dry cleaners for cleaning. It will find its place in your bedroom and provide extra comfort to your nights thanks to the thick fabric weave. You can also use it as a tablecloth or as a base fabric for sewing your curtains. Like all new blends, you will need to let this sheet soak in clear water for a day before using it. This step is necessary to remove the starch and soften the fabric. The embroidery known as “openwork” is one of the oldest and most elegant crafts. The most common is the Venetian lace finish, which, with its “bars”, carefully highlights the trimmings of high-end pillowcases and bed sheets. The Venetian lace is named so because, as early as the 15th century, Venetian embroiderers were specialists in it. This craft was then exported and developed in France from the 17th century, inspiring French luxury. Dimensions: L220 x W310 cm
