Descamps linen-cotton blend sheet in light beige, rectangular in shape, with a Venetian drawstring border in the same color along the top. In perfect condition, as we acquired a batch of antique but new sheets, we nevertheless had them professionally cleaned. It will find its place in your bedroom and provide extra comfort to your nights thanks to the fabric's thick weave. You can also use it as a tablecloth or as a base fabric for sewing curtains. As with any new linen-cotton blend, you will need to soak this sheet in clear water for a day before using it. This step is necessary to remove the starch and soften the fabric. Drawn stitch embroidery is one of the oldest and most elegant crafts. The most widespread is the Venetian drawstring finish, which, with its "bars," carefully highlights the edges of pillowcases and high-end bed sheets. The Venetian drawstring is so named because, from the 15th century onwards, Venetian embroiderers were specialists in this technique.
