Modernist wooden floor lamp Brancusi Endless column 1940 1950

Spectacular wooden floor lamp turned modernist 40s 50s probably inspired by the mythical endless column of the immense constantine brancusi. Old patina, can be even original - color and texture of plaster, soft and matte. Would walk rather well at villa malaparte, next to the secluded sofa, window side. Walks as well everywhere with side light, some space for perspective and to blow. Poetic power and masterful simplicity. A slightly more important trace and scratches. Very nice piece sold without lampshade. Switch under the bayonet socket. Height 145cm, foot diameter 32cm, barrel diameter 8cm.
