Toiletry set - metal and silk brush and hand mirror England from the 50s

This beautiful mid-century vanity set contains two matching pieces. It includes a mirror and a brush. The backs of the mirror and brush are made of silk on which is embroidered by hand a fine floral decoration. The embroidered silk is protected by transparent celluloid. The brush and mirror are mounted on silver metal. The long-handled hairbrush features a silver metal frame and the handle is beautifully worked and chiseled with flowers. The silk back is adorned with a nice hand embroidery stitch. It is a bouquet of pink, white and golden flowers on white silk under transparent celluloid. The bristles of the are made of white celluloid and are placed in a wooden base. Brush: h: 27cm / w: 9cm / d: 3.8cm. The long-handled hand mirror features the same beautifully detailed silver-colored chiseled metal frame. The back is made of the same decoration as the brush. The mirror has the shape of a large shield with beveled edges. Mirror: h: 31cm/ w: 13cm/ d: 1.3cm. The words made in england are stamped in wood on the face of the brush. Vintage 50s/60s england.
