Hand-painted decorative wooden plates

This vintage folk art set consists of two hand-painted wooden decorative plates or wall plaques. The larger one is a Russian production from the 70s/80s "khokhloma" with its characteristic style of wood painting with bright, red and gold flower motifs on a black lacquered background; the second plate matches well but is perhaps of a different provenance: red matte background, more naive flowers and a pretty blue bow. Patina of time, dimensions: 28x3 and 24x2 cm.
