Christofle, serving tray 1900

Large oval serving tray with Christofle handles in silver-plated metal. The openwork handles have a twisted decoration ending in leafy grips. In the center, in an oval medallion, are engraved the letters M and C. The edge is highlighted with pearls. Superb French work from the famous Christofle house, bearing the number 331903 and the silversmith's hallmark, signed in full. Dates from the late 19th or early 20th century. In beautiful condition without desilvering, this charming monogrammed tray will look great on a pretty table. Visible signs of time: some traces and scratches from use.
