Painting "Life in the Ksar"

Painting depicting life in the ksar of Ghardaia in Algeria, was part of a pair. The work is an oil on canvas, the measurements include the frame. Coming from Ghardaia, the painting was purchased directly from the artist by the previous owner. The work is signed but I was unable to read the name. Ghardaia is the jewel of Mzab architecture, in the Mozabite valley at the gateway to the Algerian Sahara. Rich in a history almost thousands of years old, the city of Ghardaia was the gateway to the desert and the ksar testified to its importance.
