An iconic piece of French school and boarding furniture from the 1960s, the emblematic S22 desk was designed by the famous designer Jacques Hitier for the publisher Mobilor. This model perfectly combines the charm of post-war vintage design with true everyday practicality. It has undergone meticulous and careful restoration: Treatment & Renovation: The wood has been completely sanded, treated, and then gently waxed for a warm finish with a soft touch and a natural appearance. Base: The original curved tubular steel structure has been highlighted in a beautiful black colour, providing a superb graphic contrast with the oak. Button & Closure: Original aluminium door opening button. The system includes a dedicated space for the installation of a padlock to secure the unit. Advantages & Materials: Top: In oak veneer with a beautiful patina. Unit: In solid oak with an internal shelf. Its door, articulated on robust hinges, allows for a full 180° opening that folds flat against the side of the unit (ideal space-saving). Base: Black curved tubular steel. Condition: A unique vintage piece carefully restored. In very good overall condition, with discreet signs of use preserved that testify to its authenticity and history.
