Vintage tubular desk in oak and black metal — 1950s

Superb desk in 1950s industrial and Bauhaus style, combining an oak top and drawer unit with a black tubular steel structure featuring a very fluid design. Compact and functional, it has an open niche under the top and a side drawer unit closed by a door, providing ample storage space with a shelf. Materials: Oak, black painted tubular steel. Period: 1950s / 1960s. Style: Industrial / Bauhaus / Architect's furniture. In very good overall condition. The outer top and metal structure have a superb natural patina. The interior of the drawer unit shows some signs of use and period ink marks that attest to its authenticity and history (see photos). The furniture is sound, stable, and ready to install.
