Asian bronze candlestick from the 1950s.

A lot of charm and elegance in this pretty antique Asian bronze statuette/candle holder inspired by Rattanakosin royal art. The statuette depicts a kneeling figure in a position of prayer/offering. Above its head, it holds a lotus-shaped chalice, a symbol of purity and spirituality. This figurine is typical of the small artisanal foundries in Thailand from the 1950s. In excellent condition.
