Lamp, turned wooden base

This charming and rather tall turned wooden lamp base in honey colour, with a beautiful grain, just needs to be paired with a lampshade of your choice. The electrical system is complete (socket for a large screw-in E27 bulb, switch, electrical cable, and a ring to screw onto the socket to hold the lampshade). This lamp base probably dates from the 1980s. The lamp works; I have tested it. The turned wooden base is in good condition, with the varnish still well present, and there are rare and barely visible marks from knocks. The golden plastic cover that conceals the top of the threaded rod has some marks and the gilding is faded, but this is not very important since this part will be under the lampshade. The wooden base measures 24.5 cm in height, 11.5 cm in maximum diameter, and the total height, including the socket, is 32.5 cm. The cable measures 210 cm in length.
