Antique Japanese multi-drawer furniture (hikidashi-dansu) made of Japanese ash, dating from the late Taishō period to the early Shōwa period, around 1920–1940. This type of furniture was commonly used in shops, offices, or workshops to organise documents, tools, or small work items. The structure is made of Japanese ash (Fraxinus mandshurica var. Japonica) with plywood elements, illustrating the evolution of Japanese furniture in the early 20th century. The piece features ten drawers of various sizes equipped with metal handles. Some hardware elements have been replaced over time. The surface shows a natural patina with signs of use that testify to its history.
