Eames Plastic Armchair RE RAR Charles & Ray Eames, 1950 edition 2018

This Plastic Chairs RE is among the most famous creations of Charles and Ray Eames. One model has always stood out from the vast family of chairs: the Rocking Armchair Rod Base (RAR). Despite its compact dimensions, it offers pleasant comfort even for taller users, and the shell is made from post-consumer recycled plastic (polypropylene). The RAR is a fully-fledged armchair, whose iconic shape and "Eiffel Tower" rocking base on maple skids enhance the pleasure of relaxing while rocking. This armchair has only been used for decorative purposes; it is in perfect condition, zero defects, like new. Sold for 705 euros at Vitra, the official publisher from whom I purchased it in 2018.
