Traditional Bamiléké African Shield from Cameroon

Round wooden Fang shield, carved in Cameroon. Handcrafted. It can be easily integrated into any interior, providing a visual focal point. Shields were traditionally used in Cameroon by young men during initiation ceremonies as warriors. These are objects with symbols of personal and tribal identification, featuring black and white designs. A wall decoration element to hang on the wall or to place on a required suspension device, it can also be displayed alone or in groups of the same or different sizes.
