Superb Moroccan handcrafted bowl with traditional cobalt blue decoration on a cream background. The arabesque pattern evokes stylized plant forms and oriental scrolls, in a beautiful graphic balance. The edge is slightly raised, and the piece can be used as a centerpiece or a decorative wall dish. Handwritten signature underglaze on the reverse, probably in Arabic. Presence of a small pedestal which gives it a little lightness and with two holes in the pedestal for a wall hanging system. The writing is reminiscent of that of certain workshops in Fez, and could be linked to the line of Serghini potters, without this being able to be formally confirmed. Glazed ceramic, beautiful presence, handcrafted probably between the 1990s and 2010s. Diameter 31 cm, height 6 cm. Very good general condition, some tiny traces of use on the enamel. Ideal as a wall decoration, centerpiece or for a bohemian-chic atmosphere with Moroccan accents.
