A vintage east german vase, made in the gdr by veb haldensleben, with a typical mid-century design. This type of vase is known as a diabolo vase, since its shape is cylindrical. The vase is cream-colored and features an abstract motif of horizontal and vertical rectangles that is mirrored on each side in colors of pink, yellow and brown. On the inside it is sky blue. Model number 3148d, as can clearly be read on the bottom of the base. In excellent condition. Height: 28.5 cm. Width: 19.3 cm. Weight: ca. 580 grams.
