Napoleon III wooden compartment work cabinet Jewelry box

This lovely occasional piece of furniture is a late 19th century work table. In the napoleon III style, it is a small console table with numerous compartments under the top and a drawer in the lower part. This piece of furniture can be used as a sewing and work box, but also as a jewelry or correspondence box... Dark oak in color, this work table is perched on a tripod base. This is an antique piece of furniture that shows signs of use: the hinges show signs of repair, some compartment lids are no longer held, and some wooden and brass ornaments are missing. It measures 48 cm X 41 cm X 78 cm high.
