Thread table, Northern Europe, late 19th century

A thread table from the second half of the 19th century in the Biedermeier style. This small piece of furniture, now somewhat forgotten, was once essential for a housewife's needlework. The table features a tiltable top with many compartments, all supported on a turned leg and base. It is in very good condition after professional renovation. Today, it is perfect for a hallway or wardrobe to store important small items. Highly recommended. Origin: Northern Europe. Wood: mahogany. Year: around 1860.
