Set of 4 chairs by Fasem

Clean lines and bauhaus spirit for this set of 4 chairs published by fasem in the 60s-70s. They take up the famous cantilever design attributed to mart stam, pioneer of tubular steel furniture. Chromed metal structure and seat/backrest in dark brown stretched leather: a sober and timeless style, perfect for a contemporary or vintage interior. This model was often reissued or interpreted in the 60s-70s, notably by fasem, knoll, thonet or matteo grassi. The original design is attributed to mart stam, but designers like marcel breuer also proposed very similar variations in the same period. Approximate dimensions: total height: 75 cm width: 55 cm depth: 55 cm seat height: approx. 45 cm condition: very good vintage condition. Some discreet marks of use.
