Entirely made of walnut, it charms with the quality of its wood, its warm patina, and its characteristic curved shapes of 18th-century French furniture. The front is fitted with five drawers: a wide central drawer flanked by two side compartments, each containing a small and a large drawer. The fronts are moulded and sculpted with curved reserves, enhanced by bronze handles and lock entries. The fully finished sides are decorated with moulded and sculpted panels, allowing for presentation in the centre of a room. The desk rests on four elegantly curved legs richly carved with foliage and shells, connected by a finely worked belt. The large top offers a vast working surface and showcases the beautiful grain of the walnut.
