Console Burr Walnut Art Deco Denby & Spinks Breakfront

We are delighted to offer this superb console or inverted breakfront sideboard in burr walnut Art Deco by Denby & Spinks Leeds from around 1920, which is part of a large dining room set. This piece is part of a complete suite that includes a large inverted breakfront sideboard, a good-sized console, an extendable dining table, and eight chairs. The sale concerns only the item mentioned above; the other pieces are listed among my other items for sale. It is a very well-made and decorative piece. Each side pedestal features two richly carved cabriole legs, the drawers are all smooth and beautifully patinated, and the wood's patina is exquisite. The top has been protected by a custom bevelled glass plate. The middle drawer is lined with baize for cutlery. We have cleaned, waxed, and polished it from top to bottom; there may be normal patina marks here and there, but to my eyes and hands, it is in good condition.
