This charming Sakura tea service was created in 1967 by designer Makio Hasuike for Ceramica Franco Pozzi. With its deep brick red colour and soft square shapes, it brings a warm and modern touch to any kitchen or dining space. The cups are the highlight of the design: instead of a classic handle, an inner divider keeps the lower part cool and easy to hold, making the gesture of drinking both natural and pleasant. The set includes six cups with saucers, a teapot, creamer and sugar bowl. All elements are in excellent vintage condition, showing only light marks linked to normal use and tiny firing traces typical of handcrafted ceramics. Beautiful on a shelf, perfect for a cosy breakfast or a stylish afternoon tea, this Sakura ensemble adds a distinctive piece of 1960s Italian design to your home.
