An elegant teak shelving system, designed by Kai Kristiansen, will create a functional and stylish working space for a home office. It was manufactured in the 1960s by FM Mobler, which is validated by the original label. Mastery of Danish midcentury craftsmanship is shown in rich-grained teak veneer, solid wood details like handles, and an interesting, unusual chest with opened top. It has three separate spaces inside and can be perfectly used to hide a gramophone, or to store a printer, or to reach your files while working on the desk.It will add a bit of mid-century design and elegance to any living room or bedroom, also very useful in the hallway. This vintage wall unit is entirely modular, and one can raise or lower all the parts, as well as interchange them as needed. The system uses a simple system of metal brackets that are on the back of the shelves and cabinets that fit into the metal rails. The set consists of: Two shelves 24 cm depth. Four shelves 18 cm depth. Top-opened cabinet H.: 50 / W.: 85 / D.: 46 cm. One desk shelf 40 cm depth. Three metal rails 198 cm long. The wall unit has been renovated. The wood has been cleaned with professional compounds and preserved by a few layers of Danish oil. Rails have been repainted. Overall, this set is in perfect vintage condition. We use minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic, but confirm the times age and origin.
