Magnificent 18th-century confiturier in solid walnut. It has an incredible patina and an unusual appearance, thanks to its small drawer step. The latter opens with its elegant period golden handle - the same can be found on the second drawer below, featuring a pleated washer. It opens with a thick door in carved walnut (the craftsmanship suggests a provincial origin) mounted on its original hinges. It locks with a key (lock and key added) and proudly displays its superb golden bronze keyhole. Inside, there is a removable shelf. It rests on four feet, with the front ones skillfully curved. It is rare to find confituriers from this period, especially in this condition - and even more so this astonishing model with its added drawer. There are a few signs of minimal restorations, some signs of use, but it is in superb overall condition. A piece of furniture with incredible charm, easy to fit into your home. H: 105 cm. W: 63 cm.
