Description
The pitcher is in perfect condition, no accidents, no cracks or splinters. Beautifully made, with a slightly cracked olive green enamel and a very pure design, it comes from the faienceries of sarreguemines, which no longer exist today, and which were located in the village of the same name, in the great east, in moselle. It was one of the oldest french faienceries, and its productions are still renowned for their quality. The pitcher displays its capacity, near the handle, 1 liter. The piece is marked on the heel, the mark of the earthenware, in black ink. French production of the mid-twentieth century.
