Empire style half-moon mahogany buffet with putti, circa 1880 (B) Upper section with two glazed doors featuring acid-etched decoration of ribboned wreaths. Central section with a mirrored niche topped by a beautiful colored marble slab. Lower section with four doors and two drawers above a niche. Abundant gilt bronze ornamentation, notably two very large putti within wreaths of foliage and floral friezes. Beautiful patina and high-quality craftsmanship characterize this rare 19th-century piece. H 244 X W 184 X D 60 cm.
