Jens Quistgaard, small cast iron candlestick, Dansk Design, 1960

Lovely cast iron candle holder and its set of 12 fine candles. Designed by jens h. Quistgaard for dansk international designs, it was edited during the 1950s and 1960s. Editor's mark under the base. Still in its box. The candles are not in perfect condition, some have yellowed over the years. Dansk international design was founded by the american ted nierenberg and his partner the danish designer jens quistgaard in 1954. Quistgaard designed the majority of dansk products for 30 years.
