This gilded bronze candelabrum, typical of the refinement of the Restoration period, captivates with the harmony of its proportions and the exceptional delicacy of its chiselling. Resting on a triangular base with gently curved sides, the whole rises on an elegant tripod foot. Each leg, sculpted in the form of a lion's paw, is enriched with acanthus leaves alternating with shell motifs. The shaft, in fluted casing, is adorned with finely chiselled foliage and palmettes. It supports a bouquet of five light arms shaped like cornucopias, decorated with floral scrolls and motifs, whose ornamental richness fully evokes the late neoclassical aesthetic. The whole is crowned with a central candlestick set on a corolla flower, providing remarkable verticality and visual balance. This candelabrum stands out for the quality of its gilding and the precision of its details. A decorative piece of great presence, perfect for enhancing a classic interior or engaging with contemporary decor. Period: Early 19th century. Very good condition.
