Pair of Guama armchairs designed by Gonzalo Córdoba in 1959 for the Guamá hotel in Cuba and produced by Dujo Cuba. They retain their original patina in the leather and mahogany wood. Dimensions: 69 cm wide X 73 cm deep X 73 cm high. Seat height: 37 cm. The designs of Gonzalo Córdoba hold a prominent place in the history of Cuban design. Dujo Cuba was a Cuban state company led by Córdoba that produced furniture mainly for export. It fused modern European trends with indigenous influences and the use of local materials.
