Charming vintage covered pot in glazed earthenware, produced by the famous Keramos factory in Sèvres (France) in the 1960s-1970s. This serving piece stands out for its sleek design with an ivory body delicately speckled. Its removable lid is topped with a superb sculpted relief handle (slipware) representing a green pear and its leaves. The lid also features a clever notch allowing a spoon's handle to pass through. Ideal on a table as a sugar bowl, jam pot, or repurposed as a poetic jewellery box or catch-all in an entrance or bedroom. Signed with the historic mark "Keramos Sèvres France" hand-engraved under the base. Vintage, Mid-Century, Rustic chic style. In very good vintage condition (slight scratches on the top of the lid, visible in the photos). The glaze is superb. Negotiation possible.
