An old necessary travel box or naval officer's writing cabinet, empire period. Rosewood veneer on solid mahogany, and brass reinforcements. In the center a brass socket on top. Missing interior compartments, transformed into a simple box. Interior upholstered in green felt (new condition) Some accidents, restorations; misses the key. Period: xixth. Dimensions: 13 X 33 X 23 cm; weight 5.4 kg.
