Early Rademacher wall lamp with large enamel shade

Early model Rademacher wall lamp with large black-brown enamelled shade. This lamp comes from Germany, circa 1930, and was probably used in a workshop or factory. Rademacher was founded by Ernst Rademacher in 1914 in Düsseldorf under the name Rademacher GmbH. From 1920, the company started producing work lamps. These lamps are characterised by very high-quality components and the patented and extremely inventive hinge system. We have completely disassembled this lamp, cleaned it, applied a layer of clear lacquer, and rewired it with a black earthed fabric cord, switch, and plug. Some parts are marked with the Rademacher 'R'. The enamel shade was once damaged in the past and has been touched up, as seen in the last two photos. A beautiful industrial design classic that fits in any interior!.
