Bengt åke lennart fredriksson, born april 6, 1932 in huaröd, died october 19, 2020 in bökestorp in degeberga, was a swedish artist. Bengt fredriksson studied as a teenager with the artist gotthard sandberg (1890-1961). He exhibited for the first time in 1952 and had his first outdoor individual exhibition at the galleri grandrue in karlskrona in 1968. He made study trips to the netherlands, germany and france. Bengt fredriksson worked as a drawing and music teacher in the 1960s and has been a full-time artist since 1971. He was the initiator of the east skåne artists guild in 1974. He lives and works in degeberga and pontevés in provence. Bengt fredriksson was primarily an oil and gouache landscape painter with motifs from around hanö bay.
