Beautiful watercolor painted on paper in 1907 by Albert GYSEL (signed and dated lower right), on the studded cardboard back: mention in pencil "corps de ferme, représentation LA MOTTE AU BOIS vers la BOURRE 1907" and label indicating that the artist was director of the Fine Arts of DUNKERQUE. Format 25 X 33cm in gilded wooden frame 28 X 36cm. String for wall hanging. Protective glass. The scene represents a farmer surrounded by her poultry (chickens, ducks?) on a path along a farm (gate, barn etc.) in a wooded environment. - Albert GYSEL (1877 / 1947° is a Dunkirk painter, professor of drawing and painting at the School of Fine Arts, Director of Fine Arts from 1930 to then curator of the Dunkirk Museum at the end of his life.
