Set of 5 Gispen '214' armchairs by Christoffel Hoffman for Dutch BPM 1935

Set of 5 industrial chairs '214 Gispen' with armrests in black bakelite. A special Dutch design by Christoffel Hoffman for BPM which was founded in 1907 and was the forerunner of Royal Dutch shell. The good thing about this design is that the tubular sled frame ends with a handle above the backrest, giving them an industrial look. The chairs have a BPM mark on the bottom of the seat. The chairs need upholstery that we can arrange for you.
