Bedside or ambient lamp by Philippe Rogier for Oxar, France 1970

Very nice and rare bedside or ambient lamp from around 1970. A model completely in the Space Age spirit of that time by French designer Philippe Rogier, published by Oxar France. It consists of a circular base in chrome metal (diameter of 15 cm) supporting a very beautiful cylindrical lampshade in smoked plexiglass in cognac tones (diameter 18 cm and height 10 cm) with three chrome rods. The socket holder is also in chrome metal with a brass and porcelain socket. The electrical cord (plug replaced) measures 180 cm. This is the low lamp (total height of 12 cm), without a base (much rarer than the classic version), being offered. Whether as a bedside lamp in a bedroom or as an ambient lamp in a living room, it will bring a true trendy 70's touch to your decor.
