Period: ca. 1870-1900. This sculptural harness is composed of blackened wood and a round red marble top. The three curved and carved legs are held by a round openwork spacer tray. The belt is decorated with wall lamps of openwork patterns. The red marble slab is recessed in a raised profile. State: Good. There is a slight oscillation, but it is solid and structurally in order. Presence of old woodworm holes (inactive). Previous repair of one of the feet (see photo). Cleaned and treated with black wax.
