Small carved solid walnut side table with marble top

Small elephant stool in solid carved walnut. Early 20th century. Unique and exotic design centered around the theme of the elephant, combining elegance and originality. Its round top in white-veined burgundy marble is intact. (diameter 35 cm). Note a small lack of wood, see photo of the top. It rests on a base sculpted to represent stylized elephants. The details are fine with representations of ears, tusks and trunks. Base joined by a sculpted and openwork spacer tablet. Perfect stability. Very beautiful lightly waxed patina in blond walnut which highlights the sculptures and their details. Typically asian style. This charming stool will add a touch of exoticism to any interior.
