Stadium 1 Pallucco floor lamps by Hannes Wettstein; a set of telescopic floor lamps with an industrial character. The combination of steel and marble creates a strong silhouette, while the individually adjustable spots provide directional light. The lamps are height adjustable, allowing the light to be adapted to the space. These floor lamps were designed in 1994 by Hannes Wettstein for Pallucco Italia and produced in the 1990s. The Stadium 1 model is constructed from steel tubes with an epoxy coating in titanium/silver and features a Bardiglio marble base. The two metal shades are individually adjustable and fitted with an E27 socket suitable for incandescent and halogen bulbs; they provide their best light with a spot such as the Sylvania Hi-Spot 75W, also available in LED, and the lamps can be operated separately via two cord dimmer switches. The dimensions per lamp are 32 × 26.5 × 165–230 cm (W×D×H). One of the lamps is marked underneath the base. Source: Hannes Wettstein, Seeking Archetypes, pp. 126, 127 and 208 and Museum of Design Zurich. The price is for the set of two. The condition of this set of floor lamps is good, with light signs of use to the stem and base consistent with age.
