Vintage design. Rare floor lamp from Architectural Lighting based on a design by the famous industrial designer Peter Nelson from the 1960s. The design language and materiality of Nelson's designs reflect his background in the aviation industry. Aluminium as a characteristic material, along with precision and ingenious processing. His light fixtures are characterised by a purist aesthetic that incorporates functional and technical details. This floor lamp is made of brushed aluminium and chrome-plated steel. The fine and delicate stem is made of solid material to which the spotlight is attached. A distinctive feature of these lamps is the "Cube Switch Box", a simple machined aluminium box with integrated push-button switches. The lamp is labelled under the base.
